Happy New Year!
Posted on January 4, 2010
Well I have just settled into my new e-home online, after spending something like three and a half years with PrecisionEffect. This and much more is covered in this ultra-long 2010 blog!
No hard feelings, I just felt it was a time to move forward and explore other options. They have been and will always be, one of the best hosts I have hosted with over the last decade and may one day return.
For now, I am pleasantly pleased where I am and look forward going into the future. I will place a review on PE later on, as well as a three-month with my new one down the road as well.
We have passed the mid-season in the NBA and currently, the Los Angeles Lakers hold the best record (Is anyone surprised, really?). At the same time, the return of Monday Night Wars tonight as the Total Nonstop Action wrestling promotion will hold a live episode at 8EST, 7CST on SpikeTV and will go head-to-head with World Wrestling Entertainments Monday Night Raw.
This has not been done since the demise of the World Championship Wrestling was around. Since then there has been many changes to both the WWE and TNA as brands and talent. Several former WWE talent are now obviously under the TNA flagship, most notably Eric Bishoff, and Hulk Hogan. So things are currently shaping up to be quite interesting tonight.
Probably the biggest news out in the wrestling world right now would be the return of Bret “The Hitman” Hart himself, to Monday Night Raw. It has been over a decade since he was last inside a WWE ring following the famous Montreal Screw-job.
Elsewhere, the NFL Playoffs officially begin next Saturday with Baltimore Ravens taking on the New England Patriots. New York Jets will take on Cincinnati Bengals. Meanwhile, over in the NFC, Green Bay will take on Arizona Cardinals and the remaining match will be Philadelphia Eagles taking on Dallas Cowboys.
I will look into a possible coverage on that later on. As well, some television shows will be returning soon as the Celebrity Apprentice (Competitors seen here) will return in March, and the great 24 Season 8 will debut in under two weeks, January 17 at 9EST on Fox!
Also, the Canadians have punched their ticket to the Gold medal game on Tuesday evening, facing off once again against the United States, where earlier in the tournament, we secured a 5-4 Shootout victory. It will be tough once again but the boys know there is more than a Gold medal on the line and some simple discipline should result in a win.
Meanwhile, I have secured several raises at work and after a gruesome week at work during the Holidays, things should return to normal after next week. It was an experience and I know now what I need for next year which is great.
I will cut this long blog short here, for now and expect some previews coming up for the NFL Playoffs next week. Toodles~
