‘Eskimos Desperate For a Win’

Entering Week Four, the Eskimos have found themselves digging a hole, one possibly too deep that they may not be able to get out. Following the first three weeks, Edmonton has managed to put up points on the board, however failed to finish out games and have lost their last two games by an average of seven points.

The B.C. game showed their quick flaws and inability to find the end-zone but moving forward, they were able to keep control of the first half against Montreal and then Saskatchewan. However, they would end up shooting themselves in the foot and fall apart in the second half, with dropped passes that could have sealed the games and costly penalties which only added to their loss.

A big stat to take a look at, is Edmonton has yet to score a single point in the fourth quarter, a key factor if Saturday’s game should still be within their grasps.

Onto the Bombers, they’ve lost their last two of three games, which possibly have caught fans off-guard following their stellar 49-29 win against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to open the season at home.

Moving into Week Two, their game against Toronto was one that many felt should have been put away in the third quarter, however they let the game slip out of their hands late and the Argos took care of the rest in the fourth. Following last Friday’s game in Hamilton, the team has left many questioning where they are headed.

Buck Pierce went down late in the third, bringing in back-up quarterback, Steven Jyles. Jyles ended the night nine for 13 completions, 95 yards and one rushing touchdown. A play in the third quarter which saw the Winnipeg defense cause a fumble on Kevin Glenn, was over-turned by a whistle, which set-up a TiCat touchdown and the 21-0 lead into the fourth.

With Pierce out this week due to a right knee injury suffered in Winnipeg’s loss to Hamilton, all eyes are on Jyles to lead this team into Saturday’s home match-up against the Edmonton Eskimos.

How long Pierce will stay out for is yet to be determined, however Winnipeg is hopeful to have him in Calgary for Week Five before facing Hamilton back-to-back and finishing off Montreal in Week Eight before the Labour Day classic with Saskatchewan.

While it has been five years and things certainly have changed, Jyles might remember a couple things back when he played with Edmonton, which could be a useful tool Saturday. As well, being associated with Head Coach, Paul LaPolice last season in Saskatchewan, the offensive schemes should be relatively quick for Jyles to pick-up, as he will also take on the starting snaps during practice.

Edmonton Eskimos quarterback, Ricky Ray, has amounted 888 yards on the season so far, averaging 296 per game, with only one touchdown and two interceptions coming in their Game Two loss to Montreal. This could pose as a problem for the Winnipeg secondary if they are unable to contain the receivers or the run, otherwise look for Ray to fly through the air all night.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have managed, without much offensive production since Week One, to hold the opponent to an average of 106 yards rushing so far. Last week they were able to contain Marcus Thigpen, who had 18 yards on the night, and zero returns for touchdowns after securing a missed field goal and a kick-off returned for touchdowns.

If the Bombers want some assistance Saturday night, look for them to call on their front seven to provide pressure on Ricky Ray and get him mobile, as giving Ray time to find a receiver has proven to be costly in the past.

Look for the secondary to attempt to contain Fred Stamps and Kelly Campbell, as they will try to break the seam and find the end-zone any way they can. Edmonton will have to watch out for both Terrence Edwards and newcomer, Terence Jeffers-Harris, as they look to bring in the ball.

And don’t forget about Aaron Hargreaves, who made some stellar catches against Hamilton last week, to continue drives. All this and possibly more should make this a great game.

This match-up will be beneficial to either team, as a win for Edmonton breaks their win-less streak, and a win for Winnipeg will improve their record to 2-2, therefore we could end Week Four with a possible three or four-way tie for first in the East.

Penalties, interceptions, blown replay review, lack of defense

You could pick any one of those options from the title as one of many reasons for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers loss tonight. What could possibly have been the game-turning point was the blown replay review that ended up resulting in a Tiger-Cat touchdown.

Let’s review the play shall we? Glenn makes a run for it, ball is dropped as he’s coming down to the turf, with both knees clearly off the ground. Winnipeg jumps on the ball but the play is supposedly ruled dead. The reasoning behind the lack of an overturn, being that the player did not jump on the ball fast enough before the play was blown dead. What?

This botched call ended up in a quick six for Hamilton, giving them a 21-7 lead before ending 28-7 on the night. We’ll never know whether that call was the game-changer, but it could be on the list, along with a large assortment of plays.

Breaking down Winnipeg, there were many problems from all aspects of the game tonight, as there is little to be pleased about. However there were some highlights and we’ll likely touch on them.

After four quarters, the offense generated 290 total yards on the night. That is one yard short of what Buck Pierce generated in Game One against Hamilton that resulted in a 49-29 win. The Bombers generated zero first downs and had several quick two-and-outs in the first quarter.

There were some bright spots during the second quarter that allowed our defense to rest a little, however that proved to be ineffective as the defense were out there for just over 19 minutes in the first half. A large problem on the night was the receivers inability to hang onto, or make any solid catches that could have resulted in first downs or more.

The game was about to change for the better, with a late drive in the second quarter, however a pick in the end-zone ended those chances, which is another possible game-changer. In the end, the offense just was unable to produce any strong numbers and at the end of the day, you need points to win football games.

The defense did nothing to help their offense tonight either, as they let Glenn go 12 for 12 to begin the game, gave up 28 points, and allowed 336 receiving yards. Still, a highlight was being able to contain Cobb and Thigpen tonight, who combined a total of 71 yards. Thigpen returned a missed field goal and kick-off in Week One for two quick sixes, none tonight.

Their lack of ability to get even any pressure on Kevin Glenn tonight was atrocious, as it allowed him to stay poised and bring in 340 yards of offense. Several big penalties on defense did not help the club in any way tonight, with many 10+ yards or more penalties.

The special teams crew saw a lot of action tonight, punting away eight times, which saw Renaud’s Week One average drop 10.5 tonight, to 49.9. Alexis Serna saw absolutely no chances at attempting field goals, which could be a saver, and could have had the score end even higher.

At the end of the game, a lot can be said about how Winnipeg played this game, after two weeks of pretty good action, and how Hamilton did everything right, so to speak. Obviously some injuries have plagued the team tonight, especially in their secondary. Could this set-up a tough match with Edmonton?

Highlights:
Doggett laying out Thigpen on the return.
No punt or kick-off returned for a touchdown.
Hargreaves brought in some great catches, utilizing his feet greatly to keep some drives going, but that was it.

Week 3: Game Two
Time: 7PM EST on TSN

Read on for a full preview of the game.

Last year, both teams entered Week Three 1-1, when heading into Ivor Wynne Stadium. This time last season, Winnipeg’s offense was run by Stefan Lefors, who has since been suspended by the club for failing to show up at Training Camp and is now back down South.

In his first two games at the helm, Stefan was 27 of 58, a 46 percent pass completion, two touchdowns and one interception. Although Henry Burris went on a rampage with almost 250 yards, the Bombers would prevail by 12 after four quarters to win game two, heading with momentum to Hamilton.

Meanwhile, Hamilton faced off with Toronto and B.C., and would also win their second game of the season.

For the Tiger-Cats, their offense was helmed by Quinton Porter, who many feel is the future for the Ti-Cat regime and should be a great player in the years to come. For now, he was 45 for 64, a 70.3% pass completion, three touchdowns and two interceptions. Hamilton built an early lead heading into the fourth quarter that B.C. was unable to penetrate after Otis Floyd intercepted Pierce on their final possession and lost the game 31-28.

This week, each team is poised to move forward and continue their season, as the Bombers look towards Week Three and a chance to leave Ivor Wynne Stadium with a 2-1 record after losing by two to the Toronto Argonauts in Week Two.

As for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, they are still looking for their first win of the season and their first in the last three games since losing to B.C. last season in the Semi-Finals.

Of course, Hamilton’s last win came against the Bombers last season in week 19, clinching themselves a playoff spot. When looking down the last five years, Hamilton is 5-11 against Winnipeg, and have lost three of their last five games at home by an average of 26-24, a two point differential.

The Bombers rushed for 211 yards on the night in the season opener, while the Tiger Cats were held to just 94.

In their loss to Calgary last week, the Tiger Cats again were unable to capitalize on the run game, as DeAndra Cobb was ineffective once again. Probably Hamilton’s biggest problem was allowing the Bombers quarterback to rush for 89 yards of his own, including one touchdown. Pierce followed that up with 103 yards against Toronto in their Week Two loss.

Week Three will prove two different storylines, as the Bombers look for their second win of the season, which came in Week Five, by one against Toronto and ended their first eight games, with a 3-5 record. This season, their first four of eight games are against the Tiger-Cats. A sweep gives them a minimum of a 4-4 record.

For the Tiger-Cats, they started the 2009 campaign 4-4 after their first eight games, something that will be in the back of their heads come Friday night, as a loss sends them to 0-3 and into the basement of the East division, while Winnipeg will continue progressing forward.

This season is their first full season with Kevin Glenn at the helm after a late start in 2009. So far he has put up some simple numbers, but nothing exciting and his inability to get to his receivers with less than stellar pass-coverage, has proved to be a deteriorate.

Look for Pierce to get the offense going early and strong, as the Bombers want to come out and make a statement with touchdowns in their mindset. The Bombers have a tendency to beat the Tiger-Cats, however fall short the following game, only to flip-flop each time. So a big key to the Bombers victory will be shutting down the Tiger-Cats return game.

In week one, the Ti-Cats returned a missed field goal and a punt for touchdowns by Marcus Thigpen. The addition of Derrick Doggett should prove to be one of the missing keys on Special Teams to shut down the return game. If Serna’s mishaps continue however, I don’t see his future with the Blue and Gold lasting much longer than two games.

Elsewhere, Hamilton will need to muster all they can from all phases of the game, in order to come out of the game victorious, as Winnipeg has not been kind to them on their own turf. Kevin Glenn will need more help from his front seven as he looks to complete passes and try to get DeAndra Cobb into the game. While the Defense will need to do a better job closing seams and stopping Pierce from running his way to the red zone.

Random Game Prediction:
31-25 score for Winnipeg.
Buck Pierce: Two touchdowns.
Kevin Glenn: One touchdown, two interceptions.
Terrence Edwards: Two touchdowns.

Well last Sunday, the New Orleans Saints defeated the Indianapolis Colts 31-17, giving their city their first Superbowl win. A city devastated by the hurricane in 2005.

Five years later, the team is on top of the world and the city is rejoicing with happiness. The game was sealed on an interception by Tracy Porter that set-up a two possession game. There was not enough time left for Peyton to utilize his magic and subsequently ended the decade with just one Superbowl ring.

Sean Payton and Drew Brees joined forces in 2006 after Brees thought his career was over. Payton resurrected his career as many claim, and Brees paid him back by giving the man the Vince Lombardi Trophy. A shame Peyton’s season had to end this way, but congratulations to the New Orleans Saints, Drew Brees and Sean Payton.
-

This weekend the NBA All-Star weekend kicks off in Dallas, TX. Festivities should be good with many fans in attendance to take all the action in. The more important business however, is that the NBA playoffs are just around the corner now. I made some random predictions at the start of the season, and will reiterate them.

So far things are not looking that great, but they were random for a reason

Los Angeles Lakers will not win the 2009/10 championship. They will however, make it to the Semi-Conference finals, losing to the San Antonio Spurs.
Allen Iverson will get the MVP award this season.
Cleveland will not make the postseason.
Toronto will take sixth in the Eastern conference, ending their season with a second round defeat.
Phoenix, Denver, Utah, Lakers, San Antonio, Sacramento, Dallas and Memphis will make the Western conference postseason.
Boston, Toronto, Orlando, Chicago, New Jersey, Atlanta, Detroit and Philadelphia will make the Eastern conference postseason.
Los Angeles Clippers will win 40+ games.
Stephen Curry will receive the Rookie of the Year honours.

I highly doubt there is any shred of chance that Iverson will hone the MVP this season. Cleveland will clearly make the post season, lol. Toronto is lingering in that sixth place finish, so we’ll see.

New Jeresy has absolutely no chance of making the postseason, Detroit is looking grim and Philly has the best chance out of the three. Meanwhile in the West, I have Sacramento and Memphis on the outside, with Memphis looking like the one who could potentially find the 8th spot but doubt it.

Clippers are 19 games away from hitting the 40 game plateau and I feel at best, they’ll get to 30, if that. Interesting so far and we’ll keep track as the season continues onward.
-

Anyway, that’s enough for now. I am looking to begin recapping/reviewing WWE programming now as well. So we will see if that comes to light. Meanwhile, GO MOUSESPORTS!? I also leave you with this video of hilarity:

Twenty-four hours later, the two teams have been decided and will face each other in two weeks at the Superbowl in Miami. Each team had a tough opponent in front of them and forgive me, but they both deserve it.

Starting with the first game of the day, the Indianapolis Colts taking on the New York Jets. First off, simply amazing performance by the Jets on this one. With nothing to lose, they gave it their all and had the lead going into the second half. Unfortunately for Sanchez and co. their opponent featured non-other than Peyton Manning on the opposing team, who simply is just too good at dismantling an entire team.

I felt that as long as the Colts kept the game close, the second half would be theirs for the pickings and they showed that to be true. Before fully engulfing myself with this, let’s take a recap at my crazy predictions and see how close I was on each.

Peyton will amass 300+ passing yards. – Correct!
Peyton will amass 3 touchdowns. – Correct!
Peyton will throw one interception. – Wrong (Not that it’s a bad thing )
Indianapolis Colts will amass more than one hundred yards rushing. – Correct! (101 rushing yards on the day, wow )
New York Jets will be held to 110 rushing yards and under 200 passing yards. – Correct on the rushing yards with 86 on the day, however they managed to grab 300+ passing on the day.
Mark will only amass one touchdown. – Wrong!
Mark will throw two interceptions, one that will lead to a touchdown. – Wrong!
One team will return a kick-off or a punt return for a touchdown. – Wrong!

Well, three for nine overall, haha. Could have been worse I suppose. Let’s just say that Sanchez did one hell of a job running his offense yesterday and really stuck it to Manning and the Colts. Braylon Edwards 80-yard touchdown pass from Sanchez was simply astounding and really opened up their offense for the rest of the half.

Unfortunately, when you play against Manning, he understands the game and after reading their defense, found their holes and put it to work in the second half, scoring 17 points overall. Just watching this game alone, it seems as if Peyton is poised to hoist the trophy in two weeks!

Moving to the Minnesota Vikings game against the New Orleans Saints. The number one question around the league will certainly pertain as to whether Brett Favre will return in Purple next season (My humble guess would be no.).

The old man gave it his all, even taking a bunch of solid hits along the way and coming back to the offense. But I cannot agree with the call to throw a pass on third down with under twenty seconds left. All you had to do was run it once more, try for some more yards, send out the kicking unit and you’re on your way to the Superbowl. Plain and simple. We will never know of course now, but I truly feel that was how it would have ended.

Onto the game, simply wow. An opening touchdown drive for both teams, which seemingly continued with a, Oh you scored a touchdown? Here is our touchdown. And repeat. Minnesota held that advantage at the end of the first.

With Favre seemingly unable to put points on the board in the second half, the game continued falling into Brees and co’s hands as the game progressed. Several key turnovers certainly did no favours for Favre and it seemingly looked over when he took a huge hit late in the game and was assisted off the field. The old man would have nothing of it and returned, just seconds from another Superbowl appearance until everyone saw what was going to happen the second he threw that ball.

After which I certainly knew that the Saints were going to the big game. A huge factor on the Saints part was the 475 yards of offense the Saints defense let up, while Minnesota held the Saints to just 265 offensive yards.

Either way however, I still stand by Manning and the Colts and will see them take the Saints apart in two weeks time. As for this game, let’s recap my crazy predictions and see how I did, as well as overall.

Favre will throw three picks. – Wrong! (Had two on the day though, damn.).
Favre will amass 250+ passing yards. – Correct!
Favre will amass three touchdowns. – Wrong!
Adrian Peterson will break out for over one hundred rushing yards and two touchdowns. – Correct!
New Orleans Saints will only amass 200 total offensive yards. – Wrong!
Drew will amass three touchdown passes, with only two staying. – Wrong! (Even though he did get three, I said only two would stay.).
Drew will throw one interception. – Wrong!

Two for seven with five over sixteen on the day. Haha, that is what happens under crazy predictions I suppose. Great games all around and I will say that the Saints will need to bring their big guns, if they want to take down Manning at the Superbowl.

Well after the most obvious weekend results of the NFL playoffs, we enter the division title matches with Minnesota Vikings taking on New Orleans Saints, while the Indianapolis Colts take on the New York Jets.

As I expected, each team (minus Saints if we’re really going to get technical.), made it past their opponents and are now just a game away from the main stage.

Each match-up is very close in terms of all aspects of the game. So I am going to go for who I want to win, followed by random predictions.

Indianapolis Colts [24:16] New York Jets

Peyton will amass 300+ passing yards.
Peyton will amass 3 touchdowns.
Peyton will throw one interception.
Indianapolis Colts will amass more than one hundred yards rushing.
New York Jets will be held to 110 rushing yards and under 200 passing yards.
Mark will only amass one touchdown.
Mark will throw two interceptions, one that will lead to a touchdown.
One team will return a kick-off or a punt return for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, for the Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints, I think it will go down like this.

Minnesota Vikings [27:20] New Orleans Saints

Favre will throw three picks.
Favre will amass 250+ passing yards.
Favre will amass three touchdowns.
Adrian Peterson will break out for over one hundred rushing yards and two touchdowns.
New Orleans Saints will only amass 200 total offensive yards.
Drew will amass three touchdown passes, with only two staying.
Drew will throw one interception.

That is it for the random predictions. Let us see how the results turn out this Sunday!

Canceled: January 4, 2010.
Rating: 5/5.

General Information:
I came to PrecisionEffect having known Steve from before (;)) and decided to give his services a try. Clearly things worked out well for both ends, having been a long-time customer. I am known to some to jump hosts just because, so I was rather surprised that I was able to last as long as I did. I also found out just earlier this week that it seems as Steve and Dave have sold their services off and more than likely exited the web hosting business. I only found out after I saw my credit statement and a random name under the charge for which I pay per month. I am sure the new company will do fine, although I do not know much of their history. Onto the specifics.

Support:
To be honest, I can not really give out a fair rating here, as my web sites were not complex and I am able to figure out even the best of problems I may have faced over the 46 months of hosting. I may have submitted one to five tickets over the years but I think may be gone following their change of help desk software. I think one situation was figuring out how to enable a folder with .htaccess I believe. Pretty quick, otherwise I cannot really comment on the support as I did not require much of it.

Speed:
I have none nor have heard any complaints while accessing my web site(s). I have held several large video files from either making clips from games or videos from my friends band, and have had successful download speeds ranging around 10 to 30mb/s up to 80. The site speed itself was rather fast too. I did not have problems with load speeds during my long tenure.

Price:
I have found their prices, even from the beginning to be solid. Even before things between myself and the host grew better over time. They have increased their prices over the year or so, but given my past history, I would have paid it regardless, knowing what I was getting in return, even though they honoured the original price.

Service:
Their service offers everything that I want and need ranging from features like Installatron (Fantastico to cPanel users), as well as databases, email etc. I was somewhat skeptic at first, because for years prior, I have always used cPanel due to it being a great panel for what I wanted. At the time they were using Plesk so this was new territory and to be honest, had no issues with it. I believe they are now operating a customized DA panel but I am not entirely sure as my domains are still under the Plesk environment.

Closing Statements:
Regardless of the change in ownership, I probably would have stayed as I still did not suffer any changes and it seems like a seamless transition. I only did change as I wanted a change in scenery and to return to cPanel for own personal reasons. I have no regrets over my tenure with PE and could even return some day later if a situation arises. I have recommended them in the past on WHT and elsewhere and would continue doing so. I have now returned to HawkHost, but that review is for another day

Tonight saw the end of the five-year Gold medal streak that Canada has accumulated at the World Juniors, as the team fell 6-5 in overtime.

Both teams showed tonight why they deserved to be on the main stage as the first period saw four goals before first intermission. The second period was no different as we saw a twelve minute penalty killing by Canada and a 3-3 ending to head to the fourth.

The first ten minutes were tough to watch as Canada just seemed all over the place, and allowed two goals in. With ten minutes remaining and their shot at keeping their streak alive ending, Jordan Eberle proved he was a clutch man and brought two goals for Canada, tying the game.

Heading to overtime, USA brought the puck all over Canada and eventually found the hole that led to the 6-5 loss for Canada and a second medal for the United States. Congratulations and we’ll see you next year!

Last night saw the return of the Monday Night Wars since 2001 when World Championship Wrestling was in business. TNA held a three-hour show while WWE stayed with their traditional two hour show. Read on to get my views and thoughts on the shows.

One thing I think that TNA did wrong right off the bat was continuously promoting WWE by allowing their fans to trash the company for what felt like three to five minutes. This is something that, as you try to build steam, is not needed. If you had watched the WWE program, if memory serves, they did not make any mention of the TNA during the show.

First match of the night featured eight X-Division wrestlers in a Steel Asylum match. Lots of spots throughout the match with the wrestlers utilizing the cage for what it is essentially there for. One problem I had with the cage was the bars being too thick and that made watching the match somewhat non-enjoyable. The real killer for me however, was when Homicide had a steel pipe (I believe) and laid everyone out. This prompted the referee to cancel the match and end it in disqualification.

There has only been maybe a handful of steel cage matches that have ended in disqualification, which already makes no sense. But to end this match, of all matches, on a DQ just really started the show off on a wrong foot. Clearly by the fans reactions, the match did not come off well-receptive. Another problem I had was then Homicide climbing the cage, and then getting stuck near the top after struggling to exit the cage, therefore falling to the mat. Useless.

One of several surprise attendants was Jeff Hardy. As you listen, Hardy has new music as he comes out which also seemed to prompt little to almost non-existent acknowledgment from the crowd. As he stands next to the cage, Homicide jumps and assaults Hardy before Hardy gets the upper hand. Pretty useless entrance to TNA don’t you think? Capping off this rather useless arrival, we see Shannon Moore greet Hardy afterwards backstage and the two leave together.

One of the big arrivals scheduled for the night was the arrival of Hulk Hogan. Throughout the first hour they would continue to show the white limo as it makes its way to the arena.

Up next was a Womens title match between ODB and Tara. I am not big into these matches and it is what it is. ODB with the pinfall and the new Champion. Next another arrival as Ric Flair shows up and makes his way into the building. This could have potentially been bigger than it was, had they planned out the camera angles better because after following Flair through the door, he enters another door and before you can even see who’s name was on it, they faded out to a commercial. Lol? Terrible spot.

As TNA is clearly trying to build themselves here, I don’t think having a potential top star come out on live television and announce through his wife that he wants to quit. Lol. Also, what is the need for strip poker. Shock value wore off in 1999, so why bother to throw it in now? You won’t gain any more viewership by doing it than by not.

Another large issue I had with last nights episode was the continuous amount of commercials aired. It seemed like the show would return and then would go right back to commercial. What is the deal with that?

A promo next by Hogan as he makes his way to the ring. The big fuck-up by Hogan was hilarious as the moron says, you know what brothers, I’ve been in the back all night talking this group of wrestlers up and down. Really Hogan? You were backstage all night? Then what the fuck were we doing watching a white limo drive around for an hour before your supposed arrival? Nice job idiot.

A random three-way with former nWo members ensues which leads Hogan to tell them that this is no longer like the older days and they’ve all grown up. This then leads to Nash coming out and asks when Hogan became so corporate. Now Bishoff comes out and it’s a giant circle jerk in the ring which leads to random talking and script changing. By now everyone has tuned in to see Bret Hart make his return to the WWE which byfar outweighs the first hour and fifteen minutes of TNA.

Tag team Women’s match which saw the titles change hands. Don’t really care for this match either and will just skip ahead. Foley for the last 90 minutes have been trying to get into the building, only to be denied by security over and over. Somehow the Nasty boyz get in though.

Tag match with Raven & Dr. Stevie vs. Matt Morgan & Hernandez. Quick finish which sees Raven somehow “trip” on the ropes and can’t save the pinfall. Lol just bad. Jeff Jarret comes out to the ring and cuts a promo on how he let wrestlers get their chance at some fame and fortune. Hogan comes out and starts ripping on him in heel fashion. Throughout the show Bishoff and Hogan were real clear to let everyone know that they all must stand in line and earn their shot with the company. So, overhaul coming?

Mick Foley finally makes his way into the arena and wants to track Hogan down. This should be for some epic times. Bishoff interrupts AJ Styles backstage interview to tell him he will face Angle in the main event tonight for the World Championship. This match is also set for Genesis and pretty much secured that Aj was not going to lose and that the only thing this match was going to do, was deliver a top-notch match, which both competitors succeed at doing.

The show ends with a beat down on Mick Foley. pretty pointless. Now, my initial reaction during the first hour was, this is just completely fucked up. But then Hogan and Bishoff show up and Bishoff takes away the script. Oh so that means they meant to make the first hour look like shit so that the last two hours will be great against WWE and we can expect quality programming right? Wrong. They continued the show with shitty action and useless airtime wasted with Foley crying, and nWo.

The only thing that really had me into the show was the main event. Otherwise, I would have been happier with just skipping the other two hours and 45 minutes. I would have to rate the show somewhere around 3/5. The main event gives them huge bonus points, otherwise I just think they were way to disorganized and they tried to bring in too many people at once and some were just unneeded.
